Spatone Liquid Iron Apple with Vitamin C is gentle and easily absorbed, with a delicious apple taste.
The iron in Spatone water is naturally occurring. It is clinically shown to be easily and gently absorbed. Each sachet can provide up to 5mg of elemental iron.
Spatone does not cause the side effects often associated with iron supplements, such as constipation, nausea or bloating.
Spatone is suitable for pregnant and post-natal women, children from 2 years onwards, adults, vegetarians, vegans, the active and the health conscious.
Spatone comes in convenient liquid sachets, direct from the spring in Snowdonia, Wales, UK. No chemicals or manufactured products are added.
Active ingredient:
Each 27ml sachet contains Natural Trefriw Wells mineral water equivalent to 5mg of elemental ferrous iron (Fe++).
Excipients:
Apple (Malus domestica) juice concentrate, potassium sorbate, ascorbic acid (Vitamin C).
Adults and children over 2 years of age - Drink the contents of 1 sachet per day.
Pregnant women - Drink the contents of 2 sachets per day.
You can drink straight from the sachet or add to half a cup of juice and drink immediately.
Do not exceed 4 sachets per day.
Not suitable for children under the age of 2 years unless advised by a doctor.
Advise your doctor of any medicine you take during pregnancy, particularly in your first trimester. Not for the treatment of iron deficiency conditions.
Contains potassium sorbate. Vitamins and minerals can only be of assistance if dietary intake is inadequate.
